The Maplesville Red Devils left their field Friday night with another victory and a perfect regular season, 10-0.

The Red Devils beat the Sipsey Valley Bears 61-14 in the final game of regular season play.

“We came out and did what we had to do,” said MHS head coach Brent Hubbert. “Great job for the seniors tonight. We’ve been blessed here for a long time.”

Maplesville’s lead rusher was Jared White with 6 carries for 66 yards.

Cameron Morrow had 130 yards in total offense, 4 touchdowns and an 80-yard kickoff return.

Quarterback Cody Chambers completed 8 of 11 passes for 160 yards.

The Red Devils will face McIntosh in Maplesville next week in its first playoff game.

“We’re going to practice just like we have all season,” Hubbert said of his team’s preparation for the game. “To get to play at home is a big plus.”
