The Chilton County Bus Shop is holding an online auction today through Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Transportation Supervisor Joe Dennis said 14 buses and one dump truck are for sale.

“The state only allows us to keep a certain number of buses,” Dennis said. “We just want all the local people that might be interested to have a chance at them.”

“The funds that are generated from this will go to pay off existing bus debt,” Dennis said. “It will help pay off the new ones that we purchased, so we want to get all we can for them.”
