Pearl P. Edwards, 85, of Verbena died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born Thursday, Nov. 12, 1925, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Willie P. Patterson and the late Lillie Headley Patterson.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her two sons, Randall (Jean) Edwards of Verbena and Anthony (Glennette) Edwards of Verbena; two daughters, Kathy (Jessie) Tracy of Holtville and Patricia (Robert) Cook of North Carolina; 26 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Glass of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Lee Edwards; son, Jimmy Edwards; son, Albert Edwards; and an infant daughter.

Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Cleckler officiating.

Interment followed in Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Clanton.
