James “Bo” Clifton Turner

James “Bo” Clifton Turner of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Maplesville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, after an extended illness.

James was born on July 2, 1965, in Winter Haven, Fla. to the late Clifton “Sonny” Turner and Vielvon Delaine Turner.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Turner, and stepfather, Roger Waters.  James was a retired truck driver who loved sports, his dog, but most of all his wife Jennifer and his sons.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer of New Port Richey, Fla.; son, Matthew Harris and Derrick Harris of New Port Richey, Fla.; son, Dustin Harris of Montevallo; mother, Delaine Waters of Maplesville; sisters, Angela and husband Chris Lumm of Maplesville; and Julie and husband Steve Taylor of Maplesville; nephews, Ryan Turner and Tristen Thetford; nieces, Maighan Lumm, Grace Lumm and Emilie Thetford; and great nieces, Bristol and Alexis Doroff.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Central Baptist Church in Port Richey, Fla. at 8 p.m.  The Rev. Frank Lawson will be officiating.
