Belinda Ann Thomas, age 48 of Jemison, passed away on Sept. 25, 2011, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born in Chilton County on Dec. 17, 1962, the daughter of the late Billy Joe Minor and Rebecca Ann Lockhart Minor.

She was a factory laborer.

She is survived by: daughter, Cayla Thomas of Montevallo; mother, Becky (Billy) Harris of Montevallo; brother, Paul (Anita) Minor of Clanton; brother, Danny Minor of Clanton; and nephews, Ashley and Adam Minor.

She is preceded in death by: father, Billy Joe Minor; and grandfather, the Rev. Malcolm Lockhart.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Cleckler and Dr. Hal Warren officiating.

Burial will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
