Charles Willis “C.W.” Rush Jr., 72, of Clanton passed away on Sept. 22, 2011, at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery. He was born in Chilton County on Oct. 21, 1938, the son of the late Charlie Willis Rush Sr. and the late Verna Davis Rush. Mr. Rush was a brakeman with Norfolk Southern Railroad.

He is survived by: wife, Barbara Rush of Clanton; daughter, Carole (Kevin) Littleton of Jemison; son, Charlie (Ann) Rush of Daphne; son, Darrell (Shelly) Rush of Calera; sister, Mary Rush Stewart of Clanton; grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Drew, Lane and Brett Rush and Tyler and Madie Littleton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. from the Stanton Bible Methodist Church with the Rev. John Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Stanton.
