Ardell Knight, 72, of Trussville went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 22, 2011. She was retired after 20 years of service from South Central Bell, and she was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved her friends and family dearly.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her sisters, Jean Cummings, Adell Benton (James) and Marietta Mullins. Three nieces, two nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Knight.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at noon from the chapel; burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday. David Farry will officiate the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
