Maplesville wins first of season

Maplesville on Thursday won its first volleyball match of the season, 3-0 (25-5, 25-6, 25-16) over Autaugaville.

MHS’s Madeline Anderson aced the hosts 11 times, and Ashley Cooper had nine aces.

Natalie Arnold posted six aces and three kills, Monica Atchison had five aces and Victoria Lawson had four aces and two kills.
