Chris Lassinger rushed for 148 yards and scored six touchdowns as Chilton Christian Academy defeated Brooklane on Friday, 51-13.
After losing the first game of the season, the first-year program has now won two straight.
The Patriots on Friday played like a team building confidence, taking a 26-0 lead before allowing a Brooklane point.
Lassinger ran a kick back 60 yards for a touchdown and then scored on a 40-yard pass from Will Hamby, who was 4-of-7 for 99 yards on the night.
Kevin Kemp also scored in the first quarter, on a 35-yard interception return for a TD.
Lassinger opened scoring in the second quarter with a 15-yard run, and his extra point made the score 26-0. He added another TD run before halftime, after a Brooklane score.
In the second half, Lassinger scored on receptions of 75 yards, 49 yards ad 10 yards—all on passes from Hamby.
In addition to Kemp, Carl Mitchell also had an interception for CCA.
