Dennis Earl Price, 55, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011.

He was born Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1955, in Clanton, son of the late Harold Earl Price and the late Myra Littleton Price.

He was a construction superintendent. Throughout his life he was devoted to his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are his wife, Lyn Price of Jemison; son, Jeff (Tammie) Price of Calera; daughter, Penny (Ronald) Maddox of Jemison; daughter, Lacey (Carl) Neely of Thorsby; grandchildren, Haley Maddox, Macey Maddox and Calvin Neely; six sisters, Charlotte Roberts, Teresa  Parker, Wanda Day, Wendy Traywick, Sandy Gore and Tammy Acreman; and three brothers, Steve Price, Danny Price and Frank Price.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Myra Price; and wife, Annette Porter Price.

Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Farris officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
