Mrs. Mary Eliza Reed, 67, a resident of Prattville, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 1 p.m. from Union Baptist Church in Clanton; Dr. Rev. Melvin Hunter Sr. Pastor, Rev. Kenny Ransaw officiating.  Burial will follow in New Style Cemetery in Lomax. Hillside Mortuary of Clanton Directing.

Standing as her most dedicated mourners are: her loving sons: Clarence and Lloyd (Mayl) Godwin of Clanton; one devoted, loyal and loving daughter, Yolandar Thomas; two brothers, Farnzy (Betty) Reid and James Reed of Clanton; one sister, Jane Reed of Prattville; four aunts, one uncle, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
