The Rev. Elton Keith, of Brierfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at his home.

Rev. Keith pastored in the surrounding counties for many years.

He was preceded in death by wife, Doris Keith.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Keith; daughters, Linda (E.J.) Chandler, Mary (Larry) Bice, Dorothy (Jimmy) Massey; stepchildren, Sherry (Michael) Erwin, Stevie (Deanna) Whitfield; sisters, Jessie Hinton, Marie Townsend; grandchildren, Jammie Campbell, Lee Moreland, Treasure (Thomas) Bell, Jonathan (Nicole) Moreland, Shannon (Brandy) Bice, Jeff (Tiffany) Bice; great-grandchildren, Tyler Butler, Ashlyn Campbell, Trent Butler, Cole Bice, Trey Butler, Hunter Bice, Cheyenne Moreland and Lexy Moreland; step-grandchildren, Nicole Blake, Kevin (Kerrie) Massey, Jimmy (Ashley) Massey, Zachary Whitfield, Madison Whitfield; step-great-grandchildren, Jammie Robinson, Kensley Robinson, D.J. Massey, Kingston Massey, Carson Massey and Jaden Massey.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo with burial to follow at Archery Chapel in Jemison.
