Silent auction to benefit arts council

Student paintings from the Peach Jam are now on exhibit at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library. The pieces are being auctioned off to benefit the Chilton County Arts Council.

A silent auction of children’s paintings completed during June’s Peach Jam Jubilee are being auctioned off to benefit the Chilton County Arts Council.

The artwork is on display now through Aug. 31 at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library. The paintings, drawn by local children, are being sold in a silent auction through the end of the month.

Bids may be made on ballots at the library and are updated daily. Bids start at $20 per painting. Winners will be notified by phone.
