Frances Mae Caton, 71, of Clanton died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at her residence in Clanton.

She was born Thursday, Feb. 15, 1940, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Crawford Owen and the late Mae Williams Owen.

She was a department manager in retail sales.

Surviving are husband, the Rev. Wayne Caton; son, Mr. Mike Caton; grandson, Mr. Tyler Caton; granddaughter, Miss Tara Caton; brother, Mr. Pat Owen; and two sisters, Mrs. Bobbie Traywick and Mrs. Dean Patterson, all of Clanton.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12 at Bell Lane Baptist Church.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Powell and the Rev. Mark Seales officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery located in Clanton.
