Rena Dennis Burnett, 95, of Clanton died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born Monday, Aug. 9, 1915, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Madison D. Dennis and the late Martha Dennis.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Pauline B. Mims of Lake Park, Ga. and Agnes (Roland) Williams of Selma; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Burnett; and son, Bobby E. Burnett.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 5 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 at  11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Earl Hilyer officiating.

Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery near Clanton.
