William Ronald “Jimmy” Jones, age 61 of Verbena, passed away on July 30, 2011, at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1950, to the late San Jones and the late Vera Jones.
Mr. Jones was a former carpenter.

He is survived by: son, Mike Jones of Lewisburg, Tenn.; son, Shane Jones of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren: Dylan Jones, John Michael Jones and Haley Jones; brother, Robert Jones of Montgomery; and brother, Charles Roach of Eclectic.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at 3 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home in Clanton with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Clanton.
