A Marbury woman is dead and a man injured following a weekend ATV crash south of Verbena.

Susan Mustin, 47, was killed in the crash that happened July 30. The identity of the injured man couldn’t be confirmed Monday afternoon.

The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office worked alongside Alabama State Troopers on the call, which was phoned into the Sheriff’s office at 4:37 a.m. in the 2,800th block of County Road 528.

Verbena Fire and Rescue also responded, and a helicopter was called in for medical transport.
