Griffin Green is a member of the Oxford Swarm 11U Major travel ball team that won the Grand Slam World Series in Panama City Beach, FL on July 9th.

They defeated the Lake View Vikings from New Orleans, LA 10-0 in the championship game. The team was among 27 teams vying for the title and they were able to finish the tournament undefeated with a 7-0 record.

Griffin is the son of Jeff and Robin Green of Clanton (brother, Bryson), grandparents Jerry and Shirley Green, Larry and Gail Minor all of Clanton, and Kathey Taylor of Orange Beach.
