Karen Mae Sparks, 41, of Clanton died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

She was born Sunday, Sept. 21, 1969, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Charles Wayne Cleckler and Cather-ine Mae Headley Cleckler.

She was a supervisor at KMA.

Surviving are husband, Mr. James Sparks of Clanton; four daughters, Mrs. Nicole (Allen) Campbell of Clanton, Mrs. Kacy (Dewayne) Brown of Clanton, Miss Shannon Sparks of Tallahassee, Fla. and Miss Brianna Sparks of Clanton; son, Mr. Cameron Sparks of Clanton; granddaughters, Jasmine, Maylee, Gracie and Kaylin Campbell, Keylie and Callie Brown; grandson, Traie Brown; mother, Mrs. Cathy Cleckler; two brothers, Mr. David Cleckler, Mr. John Burton; and sister, Ms. Alissa Burton Giles.

She was preceded in death by grandson, James Michael Cobb.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Mims officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery in Clanton.
