Below are times and dates for Fourth of July celebrations in Chilton County.

July 2: The town of Thorsby will hold its annual Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 2 at 7 p.m. at Richard Wood Memorial Park. Free water will be handed out, and fireworks will immediately follow the program. For more information, call Melba Davis at 646-2215.

July 3: The Lake Mitchell Home Owners and Boat Owners will hold its annual Cargile Creek Fourth of July fireworks show at 9 p.m. The show will be synched to music and will last 20 minutes.

July 4: The city of Clanton will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show at City Park beginning at 9 p.m.

July 4: The Lake Mitchell Pontoon Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Higgins Ferry Park. The Powerboat Parade will begin at 2 p.m. at Blue Creek.
