After colliding with another vehicle at the intersection of Highway 31 and Black Snake Road late Wednesday afternoon, a Hyundai Elantra left the roadway and didn’t stop until it struck merchandise sitting outside Russell Do-It Center.

The driver of the Elantra was transported to UAB with non-life threatening injuries, while two occupants of a Ford Explorer truck were uninjured, according to Clanton Fire Chief David Driver.
