The town of Maplesville will host a summer benefit for the Maplesville Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, July 23 in Maplesville Community Park.
The benefit will take place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will have a car show, live music, children’s activities and vendors. Event organizer Christine Epperson said there will be fun for the whole family.
“We’ll have all kinds of kids things,” she said. “We’ll have inflatables, face painting and even sprinklers up. We’ll also be selling raffle tickets.”
In addition, there will be a “split the pot” raffle, where the winner will get half of the money earned, with the other half going to the Maplesville Volunteer Fire Department.
A car show and motorcycle show will be put on during the day, and to close out the day’s festivities there will be live music from The Last Chance Band and others.
Admission for the benefit is $3 for adults, $1 for children 12 and under, and $15 for vendors. There will also be an all day armband for the rides.
