Jennie Lovenia Johnson, age 91 of Maplesville, passed away on June 21, 2011, in Clanton.

She was born in Chilton County on Feb. 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Benjamin Glasscock and the late Jessie Bell Freeman Glasscock.

Mrs. Johnson was a former lunchroom worker and nutritionist for the Auburn Extension System.

She is survived by: son, Jimmy Johnson of McCalla; daughter, Linda Silas of Clanton; daughter, Peggie Lenoir of Maplesville; son, Joe Johnson of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: husband, Arthur M. Johnson; daughter, Arthel Jones; son, Kenneth Johnson; and daughter, Barbara Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23 at 11 a.m. from Maplesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Brooks and the Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the services at the church.

Burial will follow in Maplesville City Cemetery.
