The annual Peach Festival Barbecue will take place Saturday, June 25 at City Park.

American Legion Post 6 will host it, and plates will be available for pick up at 10 a.m. Plate options include either pulled pork or a half-chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, bread and a drink. Plates will cost $8.

“For eight bucks, you can’t beat it,” said Jerry Grooms, event coordinator. “We’ll start cooking at 5 a.m., and if people want to help they are more than welcome to.”
