Jerome Conway, 83, of Brent died Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Centreville.

He was born July 25, 1927, in Chilton County, son of the late John L. Conway and the late Carrie Angeline White Conway.

He was owner of Conway Lumber Co., Inc.

Surviving are son, Dr. Jerry  (Janis) Conway of Brent; two daughters, Ms. Brenda (Terry) Talley of Wetumpka and Ms. Tina Joachin of Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ms. Velma Traywick of Clanton and Ms. Eva Williams of Bessemer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elrie J. Conway.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 11 from 10-11 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church..

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 11 at 11 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jerry M. Windsor officiating.

Interment will follow in Mulberry Baptist Cemetery.
