Louise Martin Lawrence, 80, of Clanton died Monday, June 6, 2011.

She was born Sunday, June 15, 1930, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Jodie Martin Sr. and the late Molly Sellers Martin.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Joseph  Lawrence of Clanton; sister, Mable Parker; and two grandchildren, Elliot J. Lawrence and Taylor R. Lawrence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Lawrence; brother, Robert Martin; brother, Jack Martin; brother, Jodie Martin Jr.; brother, Ernest Martin; and sister, Minnie Latham.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 8 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, June 9 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Vanderslice officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
