Applications for the 2011 Peach Parade are now available for pickup at various locations across Chilton County.

Each entry must have a peach related theme, and all entries must be postmarked no later than June 14. Late entries are only accepted if time and space permits. Each entry will be given a lineup number by June 20.

All entries aside from school marching bands are required to be on a float or some kind of vehicle. All vehicle drivers must have a valid driver’s license, and all entries must conduct themselves with appropriate behavior. Failure to do either can result in being removed from the parade.

The parade will take place June 25 at 9 a.m. Line up for the parade will begin at 8 a.m.

Entry forms can be found at The Clanton Advertiser, Clanton Police Department, C&C Trophy, People’s Southern Bank, Chilton County Chamber of Commerce, Clanton City Hall, Thorsby Town Hall and Jemison City Hall.
