Cox Veterinary Hospital in Clanton will hold its annual countywide rabies clinics Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, June 18.
Dr. Thomas M. Cox is the rabies officer for Chilton County, and the clinic is a service he provides each year for the county, said Christy Gay, secretary.
All dogs and cats over the age of 12 weeks old are to be vaccinated as required by state law.
The cost will be $10 per pet.
“With the different locations, people will be able to find one close to them,” said Gay.
The clinics will be held June 11 at Garrison Farm and Home Center from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.; Isabella High School from 2-2:45 p.m.; Maplesville High School from 3-3:45 p.m.; Chilton County High School from 4:15-5 p.m. and Verbena Annex from 5:15-5:45 p.m.
Also, clinics will be held on June 18 at Jemison High School from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and Enterprise Fire Station No. 1 from 2:30-3:15 p.m.
