Devils drop first game at state tournament

Maplesville lost its first game, 12-1 to South Lamar, in the Class 1A state softball tournament Friday.
The Red Devils will try to avoid elimination when they play in a loser’s bracket game at 4 p.m. Friday against the loser of the Waterloo-Pleasant Home game.
