State Troopers have released more information about a fatal single-car accident that happened Monday afternoon in northern Chilton County.

Laura Highfield Burton, 39, of Sylacauga died in the accident that occurred along the 2,800th block of Alabama 155, about 5 miles north of Jemison.

She was ejected from the vehicle, a 1994 Mazda B4000-X Cab Pickup, which left the road and overturned. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The wreck happened at 1:57 p.m. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
