Larry “Pop” James Cobb, 67, of Jemison died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born Friday, May 7, 1943, son of the late Joseph O. Cobb and Margie Reynolds Cobb.

He was a jack-of-all-trades at Wheeler Wrecker.

Surviving are his mother, Margie Cobb of Jemison; two daughters, Jeana (John) Huggins of Eclectic and Joely (Andy) Sears of Wetumpka; son, Barry (Cathy) Cobb of Montgomery; grandchildren, Jake (Jessica), Cody, Ivy, Scarlett, Andrew, Maegan and Caled; and great-grandchild, Jake.

Services will be held Friday, April 29 at 1 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex Kent officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
