Verbena School will be open May 6 to make up for a day missed, on April 5, because of a power outage, Superintendent of Education Dave Hayden said.

May 6 is a weather day for all other Chilton County schools.

Verbena and Verbena Annex were closed the entire day on April 5 but reopened the following day.
