Krista Lynn Shaffer Boice, age 27 of Billingsley, passed away on April 14, 2011, as the result of an automobile accident in Autauga County. She was born in Florida on Nov. 18, 1983, the daughter of Arthur A Shaffer Sr. and Deborah Martin Shaffer.

She was an assistant manager with Murphy Oil Company.

She is survived by: husband, Danny Boice of Billingsley; father, Arthur A. Shaffer Sr. of Billingsley; mother, Deborah Shaffer of Billingsley; daughter, Shelby Lynn Boice of Billingsley; son, Austin Wayne Rogers of Clanton; son, Payton Lee Boice of Billingsley; son, Danny Allen Boice of Billingsley; son, Kristopher Guy Boice of Billingsley; sister, Amber Chandler of Billingsley; sister, Tawnie Shaffer of Prattville; brother, Al Shaffer of Billingsley; grandparents, Earl and Peggy Smyth of Royal Palm, Fla.; grandmother, Dorothy Potts of Palm City, Fla.; aunt, Shelia Floor of Lantana, Fla.; and uncle, Rodney Smyth of Royal Palm, Fla.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 18 at 11 a.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Cleckler officiating. Burial will follow in Billingsley Church of God Cemetery in Billingsley.
