The Central Alabama Red Devils improved their record to 5-1 with a 40-32 win over the Northeast Alabama Bengals on April 9 and will host the Marietta (Ga.) Hitmen on Saturday.

The game will begin at 6 p.m. at Maplesville’s George Walker Jr. Stadium.

Last Saturday’s game was tied at 32 with 33 seconds remaining when Christian Briscoe completed a 47-yard pass to Chris Kent for the win.

Briscoe also had scoring runs of 30 yards, 15 yards, 8 yards and 20 yards.

The Devils’ first touchdown came when Alfonso Kent recovered a fumble in the end zone.
