Jemison lost two close games out of three in the Panther Classic softball tournament on April 9.

The Panthers lost to Montevallo, 4-3, in the eighth inning via the International Tiebreak Rule. JHS also fell to Class 4A No. 2 Dallas County by a 5-2 score.

Jemison lost to rival Chilton County, 14-1.

Shelby Lopez had the best tournament performance for JHS, recording three hits, two walks and two runs batted in.

Morgan Lucas had two hits and one RBI, Hannah Smith had two hits and two walks, and Wendy Spiginer had two hits.
