Alice Mae “Granny Mae” Duncan, age 77, of Stanton passed away April 11, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Wallace, Cathy Dearman and Gail M. Atchison; parents, David Litchfield and Ollie Nichols; three sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Pauline (Richard) Barrett; son, Tanner (Nicole) Duncan; one granddaughter, Crissy Taber and one great-granddaughter, Allison McCloud that she lovingly raised; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, two brothers, many nieces and nephews and several foster children.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Roseberry and James DeLoach officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are David Barrett, Richard Barrett, Scott Crocker, Kevin DeLoach, Daniel Atchison and Matt Burnett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery or Ebenezer Baptist Building Fund, P. O. Box 56, Stanton, AL, 36790.
