Chilton County’s golf team finished first, with a score of 150, over Sylacauga and Talladega in a round Thursday at Sylacauga.

Forrest Knight shot a team-best 34, while Blake Jenkins had a 38 and both Grantland Karn and Ivan Truss shot a 39.

The Tigers also defeated Briarwood on Wednesday, 159-160, at Eagle Point.

Knight again had the low round, a 37, while Jenkins wasn’t far behind with a 39.

Truss shot a 40, Karn a 43 and Jordan Lightsey a 44.
