Geraldean “Sue” Walker, 64, of Clanton died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at her residence in Clanton.

She was born Thursday, May 2, 1946, in Blount County, Tenn., daughter of the late Wilburn Ross and Myrtle Green Ross.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, John (Janice) Walker; daughter, Bette (Kyle) Crowson; son, Wayne (Debbie) Walker; mother, Myrtle Ross; three brothers, Bob (Mamie) Tipton, James (Joanne) Ross and Randy Ross; special aunt, Joyce Spencer; special uncles, Doug (Hazel) Green and Dick Green; grandchildren, John (Janice), Rachel, Hannah, Sara and Josie Walker; Michael Seaton; Kylie, Tyler and Tiffany Crowson; Kenneth Wayne (Trey) Walker III, Toni Walker (Chris) Ousley, Lesley Walker (Tim) Motley, Sam (Kelli) Hoyt, Erin (John Claud) Parker, Haley Willis, Brandon Smith, Jennifer Sansom, Layne Flourney, Trent Flourney and many loving great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Walker and daughter, Lynn Walker Dennis.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 25 at Martin Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Calhoun officiating.

Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery in Jones.

A memorial service will be held in Maryville, Tenn. with the time and date to be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorials be made to New Beacon Hospice, Alabaster, or Jones Baptist Church, Jones.
