Thorsby visited Shades Mountain Christian on Saturday and defeated both the homestanding Eagles (13-2) and Tarrant (21-0).

THS is now 14-3 on the season.

Brantley Maddox pitched a complete game (six innings) against Shades Mountain, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out five.

Parker Bryan recorded two hits and two bases on balls.

Blake Elkins went 3-for-4, and both Jace Maddox and Stuart Scott went 2-for-2. Scott also scored two runs and drove in one run.

Stephen Mims, Matt Morgan and Wesley Smitherman combined to shut out Tarrant in the second game of the day.

Mims struck out eight batters.

Jason Price went 4-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored, and Bryan also knocked in four.

Andrew Farris hit a double and had two RBI.
