Norma Caldwell Thompson, 72, of Notasulga died Monday, March 14, 2011.

She was born on Monday, Jan. 2, 1939, in Tallapoosa County, daughter of the late Wilson Oneal Price and the late Ruby Darnell Price.

She was an office manager. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Notasulga.

Surviving are her husband, John C. Thompson Sr. of Notasulga; former husband, Charlie M. Caldwell of Marbury; two sons, Jeff (Natalia) Caldwell of Pinson and Michael (Carol) Caldwell of Lawrenceville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Chandler Caldwell of Pinson, Laura Beth Caldwell of Pinson, Matthew Caldwell of Lawrenceville, Ga., Mark Caldwell of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Vladik Caldwell of Pinson; sister, Patsy Scruggs of Notasulga; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Ray; and sister, Betty Jen McEachern.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Moore and the Rev. Tommy Roy officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Marbury.
