Red Devils shut out Thorsby

The Maplesville softball team opened its season with a win, 6-0, Tuesday night over Thorsby.

Courtney Killingsworth went the distance for the home team, striking out eight Rebel batters.

Leading the way at the plate for MHS was Natalie Arnold, who went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Killingsworth, Courtney Baugh and Alisha Blackmon all contributed with two hits each.

Taylor McManus and Josie Adams each had a hit for the Rebels.
