Chilton County’s girls tennis team stayed perfect on the young season with a 6-3 win Tuesday that improves its record to 3-0.

The CCHS boys also defeated Ramsay, 8-1, at George Ward Park in Birmingham.

For the girls, singles winners were Anna Bearden (No. 3 position), Mary Colby Kelley (4), Krissi Jones (5), Leigh Anna Shavers (6) and Francia Lopez (alternate).

Doubles winners were the teams of Bearden and Kelley (2), and Jones and Shavers (3).

For the boys, who are 2-1 on the season, singles winners were Chase Baker (2), Rett Russell (3), Nathan Hudson (4), A.J. Davidson (5) and Cameron Blackmon (6).

Both sets of Tigers host Prattville beginning at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
