The Campaign for Liberty Constitution Tour will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 at Peach Park.

The rally in Chilton County is part of a tour that will continue until April 15, tax day.

Copies of the Constitution will be handed out to educate everyone on their constitutional rights.

The campaign’s mission, according to its website, is to promote and defend the “great American values and principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy, by means of educational and political activity.”

Interim State Coordinator Marcelo Munoz and Barbara Hall, Chilton County representative, helped organize the event and will speak.

“We are trying to get people in the community involved, especially teenagers,” said Hall.

Open mic will be from 9-9:50 a.m., and the rally will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

The guest speakers include: Kurt Wallace, state representative for District 42; K. Carl Smith of the Frederick Douglas Republicans; and Con Casey, the vice-chairman of the Alliance for Citizens Rights and a Vietnam era Navy veteran who is retired from the United States Steel Corp.

All veterans will be honored at the event.

Live music will be provided by Eternal Destination.
