Thorsby’s baseball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 12-0 win at West Blocton on Tuesday in a game that was called after five innings.

THS ace Cody Carroll shut out the hosts, allowing one hit and one walk in five innings while striking out eight.

Several Rebels recorded multiple hit games, incuding Blake Elkins (2-for-3 with a sacrifice and two runs batted in), Jace Maddox (2/2 with a walk, a sacrifice and two runs scored), Matt Morgan (2/2 with a walk, a double, one RBI and two runs), Jason Price (2/4 with two RBI and a run), Stuart Scott (2/3 with a double and an RBI), and Wesley Smitherman (3/3 with a triple, two RBI and two runs).
