Harold Wayne Glasscock

Harold Wayne Glasscock, age 66, of Jemison, passed away on Feb. 19, 2011, in Alabaster. He was born on May 4, 1941, in Sylacauga, the son of the late James Morgan Glasscock and the late Jessie Pearl Davis Glasscock.

He was a cabinet maker.

He is survived by: daughter, Denise (Tim) Scott of Jemison; daughter, Kathy (Bill) Barker of Chelsea; son, James Glasscock of Jemison; grandchildren, Samantha Glass, Jennifer Scott, Randall (Dawn) Scott, Toni Barker, Chris Barker, Chad Glasscock and Chandler Glasscock; sister, Betty (Steve) Pierce of Prattville; and cousin, Eddie Davis of Alabaster. He is also survived by two very special friends, Deborah and Richard Minor.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Helen Glasscock; parents, James Morgan and Jessie Pearl Glasscock; sister, June Toth; and brother, Junior Glasscock.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22 from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with the Rev. Bunion Porter and the Rev. Greg Davis officiating.

Burial will follow in Archer’s Chapel Methodist Protestant Cemetery in Jemison.
