Anna Roberts Abbott, 86, of Maplesville died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born Friday, July 4, 1924, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Milton H. Roberts and the late Lilian Hayes Roberts.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Myra (Curtis) Williams of Clanton; two sons, Jimmy (Shirley) Abbott of Maplesville and Billy (Elaine) Abbott of Maplesville; four grandchildren, Brad Abbott of Maplesville, Jan Freeman of Douglasville, Ga., Michael Abbott of Maplesville and Todd Abbott of Jemison; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Abbott; and son, Charles G. Abbott.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Coburn and the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.

Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Maplesville.
