Eunice Murrah Hagin “Honey”

Eunice Murrah Hagin “Honey,” age 97, of Clanton, daughter of the late George and Roberta Robinson Murrah, passed away at her home on Feb. 18, 2011.

Mrs. Hagin was a teacher/principal for 38 years at Jemison Elementary.

She is survived by three children, Robbie Haggin Leverett of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Marcia Cleckler Ortega of Prattville and Michael Anthony Cleckler of Clanton; two brothers, W.A. (Alton) Murrah of Scottsboro and A.W. (Wyndol) Murrah of Montgomery; sister, Peggy Murrah of Clanton; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at Martin Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Matt Debord officiating.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers: Michael Cleckler, Zac Patterson, Andy Ortega, Rickey Leverett, Bill Murrah and D.J. Parker.
