Verbena to have Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Verbena High School will have an assembly program Friday, Feb. 18 at 8:15 a.m. for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Anyone involved in the process of law enforcement, or anyone who has served in any capacity related to law enforcement, is encouraged to attend.
This includes local, state and federal law officers, jailers, correctional officers, coroner, circuit clerk, lawyers, district attorney and judges.
SGA members will escort guests to designated seats in the auditorium.
The program, enhanced by music from the school band, briefly walks through the U.S. Constitution emphasizing that the law must be upheld in order for society to enjoy the freedoms bestowed by it.
Refreshments will follow.
