Clanton Fire and Rescue responded to a wreck Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m on Airport Road in front of the Department of Human Resources building.

A Ford 150 and Toyota Corolla collided head-on. Two people in the Corolla were transported to UAB Hospital and Children’s Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to Fire Chief David Driver.

Airport Road was closed for at least an hour. Clanton Police redirected traffic.
