Ruby Tippett Thrash

Ruby Tippett Thrash, 85, of Clanton died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011.

She was born Friday, Nov. 13, 1925, in Chilton County daughter of the late Zabe Arthur Tippett and the late Everie Maddox Tippett.

She was a bookkeeper.  She was a Pink Lady for over 45 years.

Surviving are her son, Bill (Sandi) Thrash of Anniston; daughter, Lynn (Tommy) Wyatt of Clanton; three grandsons, Brian (Shannon) Wyatt of Clanton, Shannon (Kelli) Wyatt of Mt. Olive and Lance (Marsi) Thrash of Douglasville, Ga.; two granddaughters, Lee Thrash of Birmingham and Lori Wyatt (Jeff) Farris of Clanton; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Thrash.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9 at West End Baptist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
